Mass participation events create a crowd dynamic unlike almost any other setting.  Participants, spectators, volunteers and the public move through the same event footprint, often across long public routes, with the greatest pressures concentrated at the start, finish and key transition points. 

Radius brings extensive experience from major marathons, half marathons, Ironman and triathlon events. We understand that participants do not simply move through the event. At key moments, they become the crowd that must be safely organised, informed and managed.  Our approach considers the full participant journey, from arrival and assembly to route movement, finish line processing, reunification and dispersal. We combine operational experience with specialist knowledge of crowd behaviour and movement to create plans that are practical, proportionate and built around the realities of the event."
